Rebecca
Joerin-Sharp

Growing up in the Swiss town of Basel developed Rebecca’s natural flare for problem solving and keeping calm – naturally, she became a film producer. She packed up her lederhosen and vaulted the Alps, moving to London at 17.

 

She established her first film production company in 2009, Achilles Entertainments with Ian. Their first feature, KickOff, sold internationally and had over 20 festival screenings. With a passion for entrepreneurship, storytelling and equality, Rebecca strives to seek out stories with a social cause.

Ian Sharp

Originally from Scunthorpe, Ian moved to London to study acting at the Arts Educational Schools. In 2016 with Rebecca they co-founded Sharp House.

 

Whilst still treading the boards in various productions from the BBC's Happy Valley, Code Of Silence, Les Miserables and more, Ian has produced and executive produced multiple feature films. Credits include: The Marker, Homebound, Monsoon, Martyrs Lane, Undergods, Northern Soul and the official Sundance Film Festival selected Halston and Westwood: Punk, Icon, Activist. Ian has recently produced, The Matriarch for Disney Studio’s/Hulu and 2022’s Screen Star of Tomorrow George Jaques directorial feature debut Black Dog, executive produced by Oscar winning producer David Parfitt at Trademark Films.

 

Ian is also the founder of the London based talent agency Revolution Talent, which represents leading international creative talent plus an investor in multiple media companies ranging from podcasts to blockchain startups tackling film rights ownership.

Jason’s producing journey started 12 years ago when he produced his first indie movie 'Terry' made on a micro-budget but went on to sell to Lionsgate with a theatrical release.  

 

Jason’s production spends are now in the success of $100m, His most recent work includes, Exec Producing the record-breaking Television Drama 'The Drowning' which was the highest rated drama in Channel 5's history, as well as 'Twist' the modern reimagining of 'Oliver Twist' starring Michael Caine, Lena Heady and Rita Ora.  Earlier this year saw the release of his movie 'Music, Trial and Trauma' for Sony and Amazon, starring UK rap star Loski which he also wrote.

 

Jason oversaw Bullet Proof starring Ashley Walters for SkyOne the channel's biggest returning drama whilst co-CEO at his previous company as well as exec producing “Sparks" for BBC Three. 

 

Jason's aim is to always put the audience first, to create globally facing shows with stories and characters you fall in love with. He strives to be on the cutting edge of what's hot and work alongside new and exciting talent that pushes boundaries.

Angela started off her career working for the BBC's Holby City as a script runner. She then worked her way up the production ladder and has since worked on shows such as Sky's The Athena, BBC's A Suitable Boy, A24's Tuesday starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and I Used To Be Famous for Netflix. Angela joined the Sharp House team in 2022 working across TV and Film to develop and package projects.
